Version 1 complete

After much grooming we're excited to have v1 shipped.

When we think about what we’ve achieved in the last 20 years, it really is a state of flow, or a collection of flows that should work together to create seamless software delivery experience for our teams. And now yours.

Our components set up a consistent pathway that our patterns and processes follow. Like the rocks that inform how and where a river runs, while allowing it to run freely.

We’ve broken our documentation into Software Delivery, and Components for that reason.

The Component Reference outlines our Cloud Acceleration Framework, the five products that make up that framework, and the nearly 400 components that comprise the products. These are the dependencies you’ll see in your IDE every day.

With the Cloud Acceleration Framework established, we think about how we will achieve many of the software delivery outcomes a team needs. We discuss our thinking, our interpretation of the changing fashion of software right now. And how it translates into a shared set of principles that give our teams some rails, then get out of the way, allowing developers the freedom to approach business problems how they see fit.

We’ll continue to write where there are gaps, making sure we’ve covered off 95% of the Jobs to be Done.

Today our Outcomes, Software, Flows, and Concepts sections are looking good. When our SRE team has spare capacity in the next couple of months you’ll see a lot more in the SRE / Infrastructure area.

We’ll add more around Product Management, Engineering Culture, Metrics, Observability, and Security.

We’d love your feedback, just fire up a chat (bottom right) and let us know how we can improve.

Thanks!
